In a hurry, we will only pay later.

The city of NO we all know is a waste land. It will be years before life can be restored to some extent.
But government in a hurry to pump out the toxic waste, why I don't know, will create an economic impact on fisheries in the marshes, Mississippi and the gulf that will take who knows how long to recover.
The once cheap abundant seafood from that area I fear will be devastated.
Since the city is a waste land anyway, why be in such a hurry to only destroy more by pumping untreated water out.
I guess its more important to get the "citizens" back in their new, free, government built houses than worry about what affects the working class people who make a living fishing or patronize sea food resturants or fish in their leisure time.
After all why worry about the common taxpayer?
