Need Gulf Coast local knowledge

I know a lot of you guys that post on here are from the Gulf Coast area and I am headed there this week. I am a Florida Fish and Wildlife State Officer (Old Florida Marine Patrol) and am part of the Special ops Group. I do not know what state I am going to at this point, but from what I have heard there are probably many areas that have not even seen police or any type af assistance yet. Since we have 4x4's, boats and numerous specailized equipment our mission will probably be accessing those areas not seen on the news. My team may have access to a satellite phone and I think that local knowledge will be the best possible means of helping out. If anyone lives in the area and can help us with the mission it would be great. Feel free to send telephone numbers and thoughts to my email address. We should deploy on Thursday, but we live in the Florida Keys and it will take us two days to get there. We already have teams in Mississippi and we might be replacing them, but I am not sure.
