FPL is already comming out with energy conservation due to interupted gas supply.
I don't doubt in the near future we will see outages and rolling blackouts in Florida.
And then comes the cry for more money.That coupled with panic at the pumps will dwindle or exhaust the supplies.
My beef is that FPL has had nothing but the investors in mind for the last 15 years. Broadhead the former CEO cut maintenance and just about everything else to raise dividends.
When out of state utility companies came into my neighborhood to repair lines last year, they were apalled at the condition of the poles and said they should have been replaced and upgraded years ago.
FPL has failed as a utility company to everyone but its investors.
We need more nuke plants in this country and get away from fossil fuels but the stinkin liberal rats cry foul.
They would rather go back to stone axes and knives.This country is really ill prepared for these types of disasters and aftermath consequences.
I sure saw it on a local basis last year when people were running out of food after only two days.
God help us.
