I would tend to believe that information, All the Florida utilities are in joint conference about the limited natural gas and fuel oil availability. After the coal reserves and oil reserves are used up, there may be problems keeping the lights on. This is probably more serious than most realize, and is going to get really tight by the end of September. Progress energy is in good shape, many other utilities are not, but as a state, we'll all go down together, so each utility will support the other until we all are empty. Then what, I nor anyone else knows. Progress energy is asking customers to conserve electricity for the forseeable future, and I don't think it's a bluff looking at out system. I get really in a bad mood with out A.C., so let's limit the nonessential use of power if we can. I doubt this is a ""Florida Only" problem.
