Gasoline Rationing? *LINK* *PIC*

Be prepared for the possibility of gas rationing in the near future. If your tank ain't full, right now might be a good time to top it off...
Bruce's daughter and her boy friend are both closely tied to the medical industry, & are closer to source info from the Emergency Managers and privy briefings. They "heard the word" this afternoon that Palm Beach County is making plans to implement gas rationing.
Likely most county governments are making similar plans across the nation.
I was a bit sceptical when Bruce first relayed the info, but in a New York Times report this afternoon, I began to see both the logic and pending danger of the "rumor".
Excerpted from NYT:
"United States Coast Guard crews report that up to 20 rigs and platforms have either sunk or are adrift and that at least one gas rig has caught fire, said Petty Officer Third Class Larry Chambers, a public information officer. Royal Dutch/Shell's large Mars platform is "severely damaged," the Coast Guard said in a release.
Energy analysts said that while releasing oil from the reserve would help, it may do little to increase the supply of gasoline in the short run because it would take refiners at least another week and some even longer to start processing crude oil again. The government has said at least nine refineries in the gulf coast have been completely shut down and several others have reduced their production.
