Don't know where it hits you, but mine rubs at the just below the fat part of my calf when I am in shoes.

My plan - 1/2 completed - is to just replace the bottom with a new cushion that incorporates a half moon directly behind the steering wheel. This should give me the calf room I need.

For more height, just put some spacers below the bench portion for a cheap red neck fix.
