High tides struts are $600 each by the way. H & H in Salem are a very reputable operation, at least up hear in the North East. They contend that there isn't enough material to do the boring and turning on the bearings. Patrick, I'd love to send these down to you but wonder if I wouldn't be better off to just buy the new ones for speed of my operation here. The difference in money is only a $300 savings. I'm into this thing for $100K what's $300? It seems that every time I blink it's a $1,000 anyway! I'd say I'm getting off easy!
Hey, I hope everyone's boats faired well in the storm although I realize there are more important concerns for the area. I'm afraid we're in for alot more bad news as the days and weeks develope.
Thanks again for your input. I'll ask H & H if they would reconsider machining what I've got and turn the bearings.
