6pm call to UV

I called UV around 6pm tonight. As mentioned in earlier posts he had fared better than most. Told me that Da Judge flew in from Galveston and did a flyover with not much good news. Da Judge said Baton Rouge Airport was the busiest place he ever flew into. UV said everything was gone, not washed up anywhere, just gone. Venice was laid to waste, the only thing left was a concrete slab from a supermarket. Commercial, private, and houseboats were all gone. The only thing left in Port Eads was the lighthouse. UV also mentioned that steel buildings, (like the one AJ is in) faired pretty well. No wind damage and basically intact, but no idea of water intrusion into the buildings however. He also mentioned that the camp may have faired pretty well but wouldn't be sure until he gave it an eyeball for himself. As we were saying good bye, Andre and DA Judge were walking into his house and on a lighter note UV mentioned that next year's UVI might have to be held in Pennsylvania. Why he picked that location I have no idea. Anyway, I'll be sitting here like everyone else waiting for the next bit of news.
