Chris - yeah we are gonna stay at home here in Baton Rouge. We are about 50 miles inland and at 35' above MSL,so no storm surge issues here, just wind (and trees on house) issues. NWS is predicting winds of 50-70 kts. here, will be much worse to the east of here. I just cranked up the 21 KW and have a 275 gallon diesel tank full, so we can go a couple of weeks without power.

Hard to visualize a storm of this magnatude - current central pressure is 907 mb and Camille in 69 was 909 . . .

Blue sky and gentle winds here now. . . looks like the rain bands will come this way this afternoon.
