Here's an interesting and rather fearsom 6 page artical relating to the possibility of New Orleans being hit by a Cat5. I tripped over it last year when Ivan was roaring up the Gulf...

Andre, I truly hope that you, Vic, and the rest of the LA contingency fair well. You might be called upon to run your B31s around down town for rescue efforts... If the track ends up a bit more to the west, N.O. could be under water even at Cat4.

Equally, I hope that none of you guys on the Delta are planning on leaving your boats there. If it were me, I'd be making a run for the Calcasieu River...
