The 5:00PM data has just come in on H Katrina...

The models and offical track forcast have moved dramatically to the west indicating a possible landfall, at this time, around AL or MS.

THE INITIAL INTENSITY HAS BEEN INCREASED TO 85 KT...OR 100 MPH.

There is a good chance that Katrina will become a major hurricane before landfall around Monday afternoon...
