Well Bill, I too have been scratching my head over this, and the advice from the Faithful is good for sure. On the other hand, an electrical would not seem to fix itself vs. a fuel problem what would. My considered view is a check valve, probalby in that engine's Racor, that is sticking when it gets jiggled going over a wake, then comes loose. Take the Racor on that side apart and clean the ball on the check valve, it's seat, and see what you get.

Men built it, men can fix it.
