Here's one for the books.

A longtime and current sailboater in his 60's I guess came into some money and is having a crisis.

Anyways a boat shows up at the marina a few weeks ago.
A 12 meter Cougar kevlar hull go fast with purple speedmaster drives and k planes and assorted harware.

After we all stopped laughing we found out this sailboater had bought it never owning a power boat before.

The owner proceeded to tell that he got it sight un seen and without a survey because he didn't want the owner to sell it to some one else.
Asked about the price, he would only say a good deal.

Splashed and pop the hood.
Two 850hp custom injected engines with pro charger belt drive blowers.
Never been in salt water.
Started and it sounded like the blower blades were rubbing on the housing

First ride was short due to overheating.
Water pumps shot.

Repaired, ready for part deaux.

Boat pegged at 97mph before spitting up a lung and other body parts.
It also wanted to launch into space.

Smoked out of both engines back to the yard.

Checked oil and both were milky. Called owner.
How much did you pay for the boat?

Owner said there is nothing wrong with the engines and because it sat for a long period of time it was due to condensation in the engines.

Just change the oil. Changed the oil and ran, still milky. And missing bad.
How much did you pay for the boat?

Left a box of ceral on his dash to go with the milk.

Repair
