Bill: My 66 came from the factor setup with the forward head, and it actually does not have a vented loop. I know it is recommended, but the head seems to be high enough that I haven't had any problems with it. I use a simple Y valve to direct the discharge to the tank or overboard. I keep a padlock hanging open on the Y in case it looks like I will be boarded. The crew has strict instructions for one of them to be using the head if it looks like we will be stopped. They are to switch the valve, lock the lock and pump the head a few times. Frotunately it doesn't get used much. Rawleigh
