I added a Navpod on my console for a Garmin 3010C on my B33 (I think the dash console is the same) by using a starboard plate underneath the base of the pod. Not the best looking thing in the world, but it is okay for me, is functional, and kept me from trying to work with fiberglass.
The Garmin is nice, I have map, weather, radar, bottom, and heading/waypoints all on one screen that I can see nicely right in front of me sitting or standing.
I had to heat up the starboard to match the curve of the top of the dash. I've got a custom side electronics box that came with the boat and has a smoke-glass top that flips open, but I hate looking over to the side to see where I am, so the top mostly stays closed. I left all the old electronics in there as hard-wired backups of everything, so that is nice to have.
Later I'm adding a smaller navpod on the left side of the console for autopilot control, EGT and boost gauges. Here's what it looks like so far:
