Man that really scares me on Detroits. Glad I listened to my surveyor friend before I invested my hard earned money. I was looking at a newer B30 with them that was pristine and decided against it some time ago.

The air gate valve would work But I would not use PVC. Use Aluminum or steel or Bronze.I learned one thing about those winter-time projects. Half of them do not get done unless you start working on it now.

Boat Diesel .com is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Wealth of knowlwdge. Good place to sell Diesel stuff too. Sold my Genset there pretty quick. Dave K
