Yeah roger that, actually bought the boat in march and spent months in the bilges cleaning and painting. Yanked the engines cause I realized engine beds were pretty rough. When I bought the boat I thought I could get by with just replacing the manifolds risers and elbows. Pulled a valve cover and found half a push rod. The other hald happily resting in the lifter valley....no damage. Put on some new heads alonge with all the new exhaust. Have not spent that much on the old 318s and just want them to last me a couple years. Only problem is same side of the port motor with all the new hardware ends up with another broken push rod/valve and the sea trials were not even complete. It is easy enough to fix...just some crown royal and a couple bloody knuckles, but why and how? The horse comes before the buggy but where is the darn horse in my case? Regards, kevin
