That was my first thought too. But I can't understand why, if it is a sticky stop solenoid that just takes a few extra seconds to move, it would clunk a little just before stopping. Shouldn't it still stop cleanly, once the solenoid finally moved? Or maybe the solenoid not sticky but sluggish, and is cutting off the fuel slowly? In any event I'm replacing the solenoid to see if that cures the problem.

I wonder if they make an add-on kit for emergency air flow shut off for the 3208. Anybody know? This whole thing has me thinking about worst-case scenarios
