I had always thought that getting the most from the props was the last thing a boat owner did. Having all the systems up and running was paramount. And being able to run the boat safely and proficiently was (and should be) primary.
But hear's a situation that's backwards. You should be able to get the boat out of your slip and run a hundred miles in a day. Then go home in the fog and weather and tie her up without incident. Like Earnest did when he went across shark infested waters to the UVI.
And now, Timmy, since your a friend and I'm older, wiser than,ahem !, you, please take some advice. Don't take this as a put down!
