prop questions

Ok, I'm sure the tubb is overproped. 210(yea right) DD 6v53's on fresh rebuilds. I had 24x23's and got the bright idea to go to 24x24. When I talked to prop scan last year they suggested something like a 21x something. I had big doubts, factory orginal was 24x23. Anyhow with things running well now I can only reach 2400 on the pins, red line is 2850. Paul, who has the same dump truck motors as I, spins a 21x19, and gets full rpm.
Now my good friend Andre is setting on the tubbs flybridge, drinking mint julips. Andre says to me, " Timmy, I know this hunk o'crap is at least 10,000 lbs more than that little shitbox RLDT that paul runs, but, Hp is HP. I have 250 6b's and I'm only spinnin 21x22's.We all got small hp and need small props.Timmy you need to go to smaller wheels."
So what do all of you think?? I'm going to try a set of Mike's 21x24's.

Btw, didn't make Block, but had a great time with Andre and his lovely wife. Except the day Ric tried to posion andre.
Other than that it was great having the La contingent vist.
Cappy chefed a spectacular meal that was marred only cause Andre was at Kathi's house puking up his guts. Good note was that I got to eat his Lobster pie, and drink his share of Pauls famous grouse or whatever he was passing off as good 18 year old single malt. Everyone xcept Andre finally got to met Little pete, the apple of his daddy's eye.(if any of you get up here, you need to con a meal out of paul)Of course the only time I get them is when he needs something or someone is in town visting.
Fun trip to Glouster on Ric's rocket ship. He took us to cool little dock side place for lunch(though lunch at 4pm don't really seem like lunch)
And as usual, lots of adventures in boating on the tubb. After major repairs to the motors and flybridge we did a bit of boating, saw Cappy on sun driving circles around the tubb, reminecent of wht we did to him on the last block trip on ric's RLDT.As much as it pains me to say it, Cappy looks good at speed.
