In Response To: saber diesels??? (fred)

Fred,

Sabre is a British product line carried and serviced by Perkins. Depending on the model, age, independant survey, and service records, they could be good engines. The M215C is a good commercial package & the only one I've seen first hand in a 28 work boat. They're low RPM engines, 2,400 - 2,600. Perkins,(perkins.com), has been around almost forever & Sabre is around 30 years in business.

The 265TI would be the smallest model to be right for a B31...

Br,

Patrick
