If you're getting a new radio set-up, make room for a satellite radio receiver like Sirius or XFM. It's nice to listen to sports 100 miles out. I also have a switch that I can make the bridge and cabin speakers independent. That way I can crank up the volume up above and not blow out eardrums in the cabin. I've got 2 speakers inside, two outside and two up on top. The 10 CD changer is down below in a cabinet near the center of the boat and I don't get any skipping.
