Thanks. That was my assumption and thanks for confirming. We will probably lift them out, take off the old Formica, layer of West and then a layer of this new material they are using up at Hatteras. It is something like Formica but has no paper in it. My builder says they are using it in the engine room to make it white and easy to clean. I guess the idea is to get it waterproof, sunproof and easy to clean.
