Wethermen, no there's a profession for you. Our weather forcasts here in Maryland sound like some type of leagal disclaimer. The only thing I don't here in the forcast these days is snow.
We just had some thunder storms pass through today and on my side of the patapsco, no rain just noise. 5 miles away on the other side, of the river, in Bear creek where Anchor Bay East Marina is, they had about 2 inches of rain and lighting strikes in the marina.
I just took Lady D over to have fixed, hasn't worked since I re-installed after being cleaned and painted (I had it out during my rudder shelf project). Well I'm explaining to the tech all I did was remove, paint, & reinstall. So he takes a look at the fuse & it was fine. Then says there should be a wire on that terminal, fishes around underneith the ledge and comes up with a wire, push it on the terminal and then the gen kicks right over. Go Figure.
So, not to waist a trip to the yard I said "hey, my head sink don't drain, how about fixing that!" The thing hasn't worked since last year ( I think the kids stuck something down?), now that should take longer than 5 min to fix!
Oh well, all in the name of keepin the economy going. It did feel good blasting across the Patapsco river at 23kts, even if I was suckin 35gal an hour.
UV, get the goo-boat out and go messin around & AJ will be back before you know it.
br,
John
