My present Bertram and my last Bertram were both painted with Imron 5000 and held up for at least 20 years that I know of and that is in the hot Florida Sun too. Like Patrick said Awlgrip is an excellant paint but fewer paint pros know how to work with it therefore when it comes to a repair it will be more difficult to find someone that can do it. Dave K
