Wanna go real fast?

Saw in the new issue of Southern Boating that Cummins has juiced the QSB 5.9 up to 425 hp from the previous high of 380. One of you guys step up, pay the 45K a side, and let's see what a 60 kt. B31 can do. Same ole basic block all us 6B guys have, but now has a steel plate between the block and oil pan "to stiffen the block". Bet that was one big ass bang on the dyno when they discovered they needed that. Instead of turning the key to start, you pull the firing pin.
