If the budget permits Gelcoat then paint with Imron. Imron over Awlgrip because of it's ease to repair and match. US Paint does make a paint similar to Imron and that is Awlcraft which many boat builders use. I think it is a little cheaper too as Imron is made by DuPont. I would not paint the deck however just Gelcoat like Bertram does.Good luck. Dave K
