Think I found it Carl. Set screw was by far not tight enough and the regular bolts were not quite tight enough as well. It took me about 1,000 blows with a sledge and wood wedge to drive it up the last 1/8". After I broke a bolt installing it originally I must of over reacted and did not use enough torque to retighten. I use a pipe as a torque amplifier on the open end/ box wrench for this . Nice and tight now. Checked my prop nuts again and they are super tight. I use Tefgel over the never sieze now as I think it lasts longer. Never seize is still a good product. This was actually a blessing in disguise with all that rope around the port shaft prop area .I would of never put it in gear had I known this was so. So it happened in clear calm waters with no sharks around also. Took me 4 hours to remove / cut the anchor line. All this because Power Winch anchor puller failed. No way to put the brake on when it was jammed in the Gypsy. Second gypsy they sent me. You know whom not to ask for a recomendation on Power Winch. At least my sinusus cleared that day and I made my dream trip of going to the Dry Tortugas. 292 miles total from the dock and all the fishing spots sought with a trip to Caribean waters seaching for Blue water. Like a mill pond out there . Like glass and water temp was actually 2 degrees cooler than here. No people, no pollution there. Just very happy fish all over.Caught most fish in 12 feet of water !!Limited out on Yellow Tail Snapper and a 17" Lane Snapper was caught. Snowy Grouper and I lost a Big Sail Fish. Took all my line an ran like crazy before I could follow him/ her. Interesting ventue. I had no nunmbers going there . Now I have some. Too dangerous to make that run in the winter/Fall or Spring . Very rough seas then. Tight lines...Dave K
