Transmission problem re-surfaces

About a month ago my stbd trans was "slipping". I topped it off w/ 30 wt and its been OK. Until last night; I got it up to 1900 rpms and the slipping began. This time I had the presence of mind to note that the boat was definately being pushed to the stbd and that rpms on both engines remained steady. Isolating the stbd transmission in my mind. I took her back in slow and checked the fluid. Low. Co-incidentally I've been tracking an oil leak in my bilge, which I think I've now figured out. The manual indicates a gasket or hose leak as the probable problem. I am not prepared to diagnose and repair either so I guess its off to the lift.

Comments/suggestions welcome.
