Torque Question for Bruce

Bruce,

I just got back from running my 31 to the Tortugas and back 290 KM total with all the fishing spots etc. Plenty of fuel to spare with a direct run from Ft. Myers beach with the new aux tank. Point being here is what should I torque down the transmission coupling to the shaft be. As I broke a bolt before apparently I didn't have it tight enough this time. Yep you guessed it. It slid back a little but I used the forward torque of the engine to drive it up again and refrained from using reverse unless I absolutely had to. It worked and got me home on a 120 KM run home. Is there a spec for this on the transmision coupling? If it makes any difference I have 2-1 Twin Disc , I forget the model number but it is a good one they tell me. Any help. If your currently on your bike trip I'll wait and hope you had a great time. Dave K
