New Grouper Rules Aug 9, 2005

Well NOAA's NMFS has ordered a closed season for all Grouper November and December(Recreational) and reduce the bag limit to 1 , I repeat one Red Grouper per day per person. This will put the nail in the coffin for West Coast of Florida and other Gulf area Charter Captains. This stinks! Once again economics rule. They insist the commercial guys are on quotas and restrictions. Those recent meetings did absolutely zilch. Signed bumed out. I'm leaving Monday Lord willing and WX permitting for the Dry Tortugas on the Can Do It. Later Folks... Dave K
