Bil,

My recomendation to you is get yourself to an electronics shop and take a look at the displays on those LCD units.

Some of the LCD displays are hard to read, bleed over time so everything starts to look like a blob, and do not read well in direct sunlight.

If you depend on radar to get you thru fog on a regular basis, are you willing to bet your life on the model you choose?
