Any good Detroit Diesel mechanics out there?

Here we go again, another F***ing DD problem.
I used the boat last week & everything was fine. I go to start it up on Saturday, white/gray smoke.
I had a mechanic that takes care of the DD powered NYC police boats come down & check it out. He found #4 left bank cyl not firing & although he didn't think it would help, I had him replace the injector. That did nothing. He thinks it is a valve or piston problem & he could get right on it but it wouldn't be covered by my warranty because he is not a DDA licensed guy. Atlantic DDA can't get here till late next week (so much for the Mid Atlantic Rendezvous). Anyone know a DD guy who would come to Southwestern CT? Mabe someone from NJ? I'm only 20 min north of the George Washington or Tappan Zee br.
