Okay Capt. Pat, I'll ask them to mention the site. The article about my B33sf in "DIY Boat Magazine" is about projects on some of the best used boats, and is the result of my answering a general e-mail call for Bertram owners to submit before and after pictures. If it weren't for the information and advice I've received from your site, I'd have been about as effective as a chimpanzee banging on the boat with a monkey wrench for some of those projects. So, credit where credit is due.

The pic attached is the first mention they did. That's the engine-painting Admiral of Melbourne posing in the cockpit.

What an odd boating week last week turned out to be. It started out as a trip to the Bahamas last Wednesday, which Dennis clipped short: Melbourne to Stuart, and then back home the next day. Then our group ended up having a hurricane party on the west coast. Later, it led to the rare pleasure to have an old college buddy and one of your fellow B31'ers, Scott Traenkle on my boat. Now there is a man who can't resist buying plane tickets on a whim after a few too many beers. I can imagine the scene at his house last Friday morning..."you woke me up so early because I bought a plane ticket last night to where?!?"

Also got to try out the new Traenkle Autopilot system, since mine is still sitting on my kitchen table. It works great, doesn't need electricity or even waypoints. It runs on beer and Jimmy Buffett.
