Mikey - I used the same controls that were in the boat when I bought it. They weren't the ones in it originally, because it used to have a Cadillac power steering unit with a chain and sprocket drive and a long shaft (from what a previous owner told me). I ran new cables, because the ones in it were too long. No real big deal. The new cables made a world of difference in the shifting!
