Capt. Stan,

I am very happy with the Glass-Tech deck in my boat, even though Capt. patrick had to repair a few rotted places in a couple of my hatches (the balsa coring wasn't properly sealed in a few spots). I have two friends that opted to have new decks built the old-fashioned way (epoxy over marine plywood, then covered with Nautolex vinyl material). Both said that given the time and cost of the stick-built decks, that in retrospect they should've gone with the after-market pre-fab units.
