Joe, thanks, what I figured, but posting up here always gets the right answer from the experts.

I figured when I had the right big easy out tapped down good, could not back it out with a wrench, then took the air impact to it and it did not move, even after soaking with CX, it was time to call Uncle. Like you say, it is crappy withe metal stuff, and one zinnionth of an ounce of Tef Gel would have prevented this, but no, GM chose to just put it in bare and it broke, and is non fixable short of drilling out. shame on them, sell your GM stock.

I'll call the tow truck in the morning. Got other fish to fry.
