The small panels I use have that transfer switch to isolate from mains to prevent feed back into the line.
That's a great deal on the food store genset you got.
UV's right on the 3phase. Stores with reefer units that size usualy are 3phase.Note:
Oh guru of the waves, not that kind of reefer....The problem with those surplus units down here in la la land is that permits have to be pulled for standbys, and when you apply for one they check the specs on the DB and dimensions and if they don't agree with what they think you should have, they turn you down.
We have a bunch of people who went out and bought standbys and they can't get permited because they are not approved.
God forbid your dog farts and the neighbor hears it, the swat team is called out, or if by some chance the genset won't match the color scheme of the HOA, the national guard is called to take you away.
Neighbors hating neighbors.
