Chiles,

You're cleared for take off... Paint away! As an added step, to ensure a good bond between your first coat of bottom paint and the epoxy, lightly re-sand the epoxied area with 180 grit & apply a very thin layer of mixed epoxy. Wipe away all excess with a paper towel, leaving only a film of the epoxy.

Allow the new film of epoxy to tack up and apply your first coat of bottom paint.
