About to buy a Simrad AP-11. No autop. now, but I need one.

Anyone have any specific complaints with this unit or recommendations for a comparably priced alternative unit?

My second choice would be a Furuno product because I otherwise have a navnet system, but they don't seem to have much of a track record.
