Well, the manuals for mine (built in 1989) clearly state use non-det. 30W and this was verified by the ZF guy at the FLL show a few years ago. Maybe they have changed something over the years. I have 2000+ hours with zippo problems, so will stick with it. Oil in the gears remains new looking - both changed themselves via busted hoses about 1000 hours ago.
