I understand you can pull 100amps out of the battery with a 1200amp inverter. But here is where I get confused, say you have a 1000 amp battery and you run the inverter. How long till its out of power. Is it 100amps per use,or for a certain duration. But..What if I just make personal Pina Coladas for a few secounds each. Is it 100amps per use? So I get 10 happy people.

Now what if the engines are running and the battery is being charged at the same time. Does that figure into the equation? I would assume then I could make Pina Coladas for the whole marina then.

I am pretty sure it must be time related at a certain draw. But never really was able to get a grasp on it to any certainty.
