RADAR INSTALLATION

I am a new owner of a 1970 31' Bertram. I need to install a radar, and I am seeking advice on an effective yet ellegant installation, something that does not ruin the lines of the boat. I have no tower, and do not want one. Any advice out there from one of us fanatics?
