A rule of thumb to figure out battery current draw is divide the wattage by 12v to get the amps.

If you don't know wattage, take 120vac and times by the current draw to get wattage. If you don't know current draw and guess, guess on the high side.

Say a microwave is 900 watts in power draw. AT 12v it will pull 75 amps out of the battery.

A 1200 watt max invertor can pull 100 amps out of a battery.
