Morse Cables Shipped in Under a Week?

I learned here not long ago that a stiff throttle cable means it's about to go. I'm on vacation and the local Boat Useless (50 freakin' miles) doesn't carry the Morse red-jacketed "Supreme 33??" cables. Chris, Rawleigh, Mike, or any of you other Cheasapeake/Lower Potomac/Rappahannock guys know where I can find one before my vacation window of opportunity slams shut? Whelan Marine (Farnum, VA)? On-line?
Also, with single-lever Morse controls, do I need to eliminate the transmission cable as a suspect? Thinking about it and looking at the action, it seems that the first inch of lever travel forward or back has to trip the transmission into to gear. So, does stiffness from full reverse to full forward positively identify the throttle cable as the culprit? Will disconnecting the cable end from the transmission really isolate the problem (won't a binding transmission cable still feel stiff even disconnected from the trans?
