What a trip! What a boat!!! My 50 is home!

Well I finally picked up my new (to me) 50 Bert down in Mobile Alabama. It took us 10 days to get it up to Greenwich CT.
If I had been on my 42' Post, I would have been crying like a little girl to the Coast Guard the whole way. We had only two days of nice weather but the Bertram gobbled up the seas like a champ. It can take a whole lot more than I can.
Highlights (G-rated):
Apalachicola oysters.
Offshore near Sarasota, found 30-32' dismasted sailboat, 3/4 submerged sailboat. No one on board. Call USCG.
Ft Meyers....well, nothing really.
Okeechobee waterway, speeding ticket.
Stuart, four star hangover.
Daytona, ummm, that's the "other" version.
St. Simons Is. GA, nice quiet recovery night.
Charleston, OUTCH! My head still hurts.
Writesville Beach, May as well get another hangover.
Coinjock NC,Great dinner, go to bead with my previous hangover.
Cape May NJ, nice dinner at the lobster house. Looking forward to getting home so early to sleep.
People of note along the way:
"Bubble boy", a dive boat being transported by someone with no clue.
"Mr. Mugoo" Capt of one year old 50 something hatterass. ICW went hard right, he went straight.
"Shark Bait" owner of sunken sailboat.
"Dumb & Dumber" teethless bastards who were supposed to detail my boat. They used a 4000lb power washer on the topsides & blew chunks of my dark blue/gold stripe off the Stbd. side.
Speaking of teeth, how do you know that the tooth brush was invented in Alabama? If it were invented anywhere else, it would be called a teeth brush.
I hope I didn't offend anyone;-)
