B20 fuel tank question

Just repowered my moppie with Mercruiser 4.3 MPI.I would like to take advantage of the smartcraft fuel managemenet features, but need an electric sending unit in the gas tank. Has anyone converted from the original mechanical gauge to an electric output? Any help appreciated, hanks guys.
