Went out last Friday to by the Hambone and trolled over to the Jackspot by OC. Got 7 or 8 small keeper BFT (kept one), and any time we trolled less than 7.5 knots or so everything went down with bluefish. Stopped and caught/released blues with light spinning gear for awhile.

Boat came in that had fished Washington and had 7 YFT and said largest was 70+ pounds. Supposedly another boat was coming in with 8 YFT from the Washington.

Not NJ canyons but thought I'd pass it on.
