Got an early flight back to Richmond and arrived just in time for my brother to take me to the IRL race (fishing is not my only vice); then hit the road trying to make a living. Just got back to my computer and found your endless string on the UVII 5. Great stuff, that UVII, Vic, thanks for including me in your circle of friends. What a privilege to spend a week in the company of such a diverse, interesting and talented group. Capy, enjoyed our trip back, first class is the only way to fly, like UVII, the bar is open and endless; Randall, whew! Just returned from your website www.randallrosenthal.com, you are one amazing artist; Tiger, Mike, Gibby, you guys made this a truly luxurious trip, who would have thought that accommodations like that were possible in a fish camp; Capt. Pat, what's with this Texas stuff? I could understand if you were moving from Palm Beach (understand the problem there) to the Texas coast but trucking a B31 to the middle of the State makes as much sense as finding tumble weed in a Gulf rip; Darrell and Dee Dee, in the midst of trying single-handedly to keep Port Eades afloat (pun intended) you served up your usual fine fair; Garry, thanks for waking me in the morning so UV didn't have to send for me and thanks for waking me in the middle of the night for your nasal serenade; to the Dream Team on AJ, thanks, I learn new tricks every time we fish together; Mike, as always, the shirts are the best, they take up an ever growing part of my closet with memories attached that can’t be duplicated. Guys, after this UVII I think groveling season will commence today. I can see the Board and UV’s cell phone lighting up now with requests for next year. Thoroughly enjoyed a week with such a diverse and unique group of guys and Miss Vicki. Uncle Vic, you are, not surprisingly, a magnet for some of the most interesting people I know including yourself. Story telling at its best. Bless you, it is a privilege to call you my friend. Snow, my friend, keep UV safe and we will convene at Port Eades next year.
