Timmy, any straight six will give you more room than the "V's". My old timer buddy has those 671's mounted in his 41, granted it's completely stripped of deck and cabin - just an open hull - but there's still plenty of room in there. The only problem with the 6B Cummins is that high horsepower in a heavy boat works them pretty hard. If you aren't going to run them wide open every day, they will probably do fine.
